So much more new and exciting entertainment in store for DStv Compact this April

April is a historically busy month filled with holidays, Family days, Freedom Days and Earth days and even April Fool’s Day. But the most important day is today - because this could be the day you find your perfect match on DStv Compact.

Not only is there a thrilling new telenovela on the way on Mzansi Magic, the channel is also launching the romantic reality dating series Pastor Wants A Wife, just after Easter.

Rockville fans, JB is in deep trouble thanks to COVID. It’s goodbye Bogatsu billions, and he’s kissing those fancy cars and that mansion goodbye, too! Could his marriage be next?

Plus, the Charmed sisters are back along with The Good Doctor and the Billions boys, and there are so many more local and international series to enjoy.

Trans life in South Africa takes the spotlight in Becoming, and two new Wendy Williams documentaries address exactly what happened in her troubled marriage, that on-set fainting spell and how she nearly lost her talkshow.

If you just want to kick back with family-friendly fun, there are new episodes of Tipping Point and Celebrity Game Night (don’t forget you can also see host Anele Mdoda leading the team in the talk show Buzz on Honey, DStv channel 173), and the Easter Basket Challenge will take baking to new heights.

All this, plus two new kids’ shows and some April movies with an action twist.

Finally, April is Oscars’ month this year. If you subscribe or stay connected to DStv Compact through April, you can watch E! Live from The Red Carpet: 2021 Oscars on Sunday, 25 April on E! Entertainment (DStv channel 124) at 23:00, Red Carpet Rundown: 2021 Oscars on Monday, 26 April on E! Entertainment (DStv channel 124) at 01:30.
