Fire & fabulousness: it’s Faith Nketsi

There has been much discussion and speculation in blogs and tabloids about local social-media-influencer-turned-entrepreneur Faith Nketsi’s life. Now it’s time to answer all those questions as Faith returns with S3 of her reality show Have Faith S3. But really, this season isn’t so much about answering those challenges, as it is about living her truth...and her best life.

The series gives viewers an intimate look into Faith’s complicated relationship with her loved ones and her journey to growing her beauty brand, Fè Beauty. “I’m thrilled to be back for another season. It’s incredible how my followers continue to walk the journey with me,” says Faith. “I am growing not only as an entrepreneur, but as a woman, a daughter, and a friend. I’m also excited to show a glimpse of my love life,” adds 25-year-old Faith.

Faith isn’t alone on her adventures. Returning to join her are her close friends: former assistant Andzelo Tivani who’s chasing a DJ career and struggling to come to terms with his parents’ divorce, and Faith’s bestie, Kim Kholiwe, who’s adjusting to life as a single mother after she recently gave birth to a baby boy. “I believe that fans will relate with each cast member in the show. There’s a lot to look forward to in S3 of Have Faith,” says Faith.

What led you to film another season of Have Faith?

 I simply enjoy being a part of the reality show. If it was up to me, I’d have multiple seasons. It’s a relatable and fun watch as there’s drama, love, and plenty of spicy moments.

How does S3 differ from the past 2 seasons?

I spent most of S1 and S2 discussing past controversies and clarifying misconceptions about my life. In S3, I’m living in the present moment, and what I love most is that viewers experience all my trials and triumphs with me.

And what’s happening in your life right now?

Where do I even begin? There’s so much happening! This season, I make huge life decisions, which can be daunting. You’ll see me struggling and finding my feet.

Which aspects of your life did you choose to include in the reality show, and are there moments which are off-limits?

I bare it all this season, that goes for my love life as well. I’d like to answer all the questions that viewers may have about my life. I lay everything on the table the best way I know, which is to remain honest and authentic.

Why did you include Kim and Andzelo in the reality show?

I work with Andzelo, and Kim is my best friend – they are a big part of my life. I’ve grown to have a beautiful relationship with them. Throughout the season, there are issues in which Kim and I go through but she’s still my sister.

You have 2.1 million followers on Instagram. How does the reality show differ from what people see of you on social media?

Have Faith and the photos that I post on Instagram are totally different. On social media, I can post a picture without a story behind it whereas, when you watch the reality show you can follow my entire day and you’ll think, “Wow, when Faith posted this picture, she was having a bad day.” In essence, the reality show gives you the story behind the picture. More than anything, people will also see that I have problems and I don’t live this picture-perfect life.

What would you like women to learn about entrepreneurship from watching your show?

They shouldn’t be afraid to do the work themselves. I’m also learning that right now, which will play out in the show. You’ll see the issues that I face with my [business ventures]. Women should be confident enough to handle their business projects themselves.
