DStv eKasi Champ of Champs returns in July
DStv eKasi Champ of Champs is set to showcase Mzansi’s raw talent from 17-27 July 2025 on SuperSport Channels 202 and 209.

DStv eKasi Champ of Champs is back and ready to showcase Mzansi's raw talent in its fourth successive year. The popular diski tournament will kick off from 17-27 July 2025 at its new home in Pretoria.
The 2025 edition will see eight teams from Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo battle it out for the R250 000.00 cash prize. The round-robin phase will take place in Soshanguve, with the semi-finals and finals are scheduled to be played in Mabopane on the last weekend.

This year marks the return of former champions Skepe Nketole FC, affectionately known as the ‘Chopper Boys’ for their stylish arrivals at matches and the 2024 Philly's Games champions, Mudagasi FC.
"We are very excited about the 2025 DStv eKasi Champ of Champs edition and can’t wait to see what each team brings to the pitch. We are proud of the growth we are witnessing with the addition of two teams from Kwa-Zulu Natal and Limpopo. The flair, skill and competitiveness at the DStv eKasi Champ of Champs tournament is unmatched," says Cameron Mathebula, Chief Operations Officer at Philly’s Games.

The tournament will feature a dynamic line-up of teams from across the country, including three from Tembisa: Skepe Nketole FC, Isithembiso FC and Molototsi United. Jukulyn FC from Tshwane, Mudagasi FC from Soweto, COVID-19 FC from the Vaal, Masokolaar FC from Limpopo, and Ladysmith Juventus FC representing KwaZulu-Natal will also be participating. Each of these teams qualified by winning regional kasi playoff games held in the East Rand, Hammanskraal, Soweto and the Vaal.
The DStv eKasi Champ of Champs forms part of DStv’s sports portfolio and showcases its continued dedication to the development and growth of local football and sport in the country.

The action officially gets underway on Thursday, 17 July when COVID-19 takes on Soweto’s Mudagasi in the 11h00 kick-off.
This will be followed by Jukulyn FC challenging Isithembiso FC at 13h00 before crowd favourites, and former champions Skepe Nketole take on Limpopo’s Masokolaar in the 15h00 kick-off.
